Google Zeitgeist 2023 was a private conference event curated by Google.
As lead motion designer,
I developed the website motion references, used by internal Google engineers, that aimed to
enable a positive user experience.

After researching for motion inspirations with the lead designer, we decided to move forward with animation using established motion patterns from previous Google projects and selected gifs as main references to develop a clean, elegant and energetic motion language.

Addressing feedback from Google engineers who are bringing the motion references to life, we decided to simplify and minimize the transitions between pages and focus on how granular design elements behave
within the page, balancing what's practical and what's visually engaging.
